What this site is

B Healthy is a general-interest publication about everyday home and kitchen habits. Our editors write about what they have observed, what a manufacturer specifies, and what is broadly known about ordinary household things. That is the whole basis of the writing.

What this site is not

  • It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for seeing a clinician.
  • It is not a diagnosis. Nothing here should be used to work out what is wrong with you.
  • It is not a treatment plan. We do not recommend doses, supplements, or anything to be taken for a condition.
  • Our editors are writers, not physicians, dietitians, or sleep specialists. We do not claim otherwise, and any page suggesting we have a clinical qualification would be wrong.

When to ignore this site

If you have a symptom that is new, persistent, or worrying — poor sleep for weeks, breathing difficulty, a reaction to something in your home — talk to a qualified professional. A magazine is the wrong tool for that, including this one.

About the studies

Where a piece refers to research, it is a summary of published findings, not an interpretation by a clinician. Individual studies are often small, sometimes contradictory, and rarely about you specifically. We try to say when the evidence is thin rather than presenting a single paper as settled fact.

Products

A recommendation here means “this solved the problem the piece is about, for us”. It is not a safety certification, and it is not a claim that a product is suitable for a medical condition. Check the manufacturer’s own instructions and warnings, especially for anything involving heat, electricity, infants, or allergies.

Affiliate links

Some product links earn us a commission. That has no bearing on anything above. See the affiliate disclosure and how we work.
